The Elk River Idol singing competition is open statewide for contestants 13 years of age and older.

Contestants must provide their own music on their device for auditions and during the competition.

All contestants must be able to attend the Clendenin Homecoming Festival on June 22, 2019.

Thirty (30) contestants will be chosen from open auditions which are submitted by video to the email address below, to perform in the semi-finals on the Clendenin Homecoming Festival stage Saturday, June 22, 2019, at 1:00 PM.

Fifteen (15) contestants will be chosen from the semi-finals to perform in the finals on the Clendenin Homecoming Festival stage Saturday, June 22, 2019, at 5:00 PM.

Semi-Finals and Finals: 75% of the score comes from judges (each round has different judges) and 25% comes from audience votes. Audience votes are $1 per vote.

Elk River Idol Winner will receive a $300 Cash Prize and the runner up will receive a $150 Cash Prize!

Video submissions for consideration must be received by June 1, 2019. Cost is $10 to audition. Contact or submit your audition video to Krista Wilkinson at Idol@ClendeninHomecomingFestival.com.
